SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER in SUMBAWA
Our client, a mining Multinational company is currently looking for Senior Engineer Design and Senior Mechanical Engineer to be placed in Sumbawa. Please find below the description and requirements for this position.
SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Reports to : Senior Process Engineer
Purpose : To assist the Senior Metallurgist to plan and execute technical project
Essential Duties:
1. Provides engineering design and technical service within the Process Maintenance Department
2. Review and critique work of others in the department for technical correctness
3. Presents all work to originator and obtains satisfactory acceptance sign-off
4. Ensures that all work is properly documented, filed and recorded for future reference.
5. Performs all functions of technical consulting, conceptual design and cost estimation; provides engineering drawings/specifications; obtains construction bids; and performs construction management as required.
6. Develops programs for and performs field measurements and observations for equipment trouble shooting.
7. Interfaces with environment and loss control departments to obtain approval to proceed relating to environmental and safety issues.
8. Acts on behalf of the company in design and coordination of facilities affecting the company and other outside or adjacent firms
9. Provides data interpretation with recommendation on vibration analysis, oil analysis, wear materials non destructive, gear wear monitoring/failure analysis, process related changes and equipment failure history analysis, supervises precision machine element alignments as required
10. Performs drafting/CAD machine duties, read blueprints; interprets technical specifications; estimate costs; compose reports.
11. Performs stress, strain and deflection analysis; performs bearing and power transmission design analysis.
Requirement:
1. University graduate or higher in Engineering
2. Familiar with precision measurement instrument & tools
3. Competent in the use of MS Office and CAD Programs
4. Minimum 5 years work experience in engineering (Maintenance preferred)
5. Intermediate spoken and written English language skills
6. Experience with CMMS programs
7. Knowledge of regulations relating to construction sites and processing operations
8. Read and interpret parts, service manuals and technical reference books
9. Good communications skills and self motivated
10. Understand maintenance procedures.
